Senior BI Developer (Remote)

As a Senior BI Developer you will perform development activities for Cforia’s Credit Insights and Credit Risk and Management solutions. You will design and work on an AWS technology stack and contribute to technology assessments, system design and analysis, and proof-of-technology development.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.
  • Clean, prepare, and condense large volumes of data into clean, insightful, and automated formats.
  • Develop effective, scalable, defect-free source code that meets business requirements and team standards.
  • Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression) and provide functional/system integration test support.
  • Recommend and develop technical alternatives for small to medium complexity business and/or technical problems or roadmaps.
  • Identify changes that make Cforia’s solutions more efficient and/or reduces operation or maintenance costs.
 
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence.
  • 2+ years predictive modeling experience to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.
  • 2+ years of Reporting Data Model & Dashboard build experience with a BI tool (such as Sisense, Power BI, Tableau, BOBJ) and their front-end integration.
  • 2+ years of ETL experience with any ETL tool.
  • 2+ years of systems analysis and design experience.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL or any SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to create and automate dashboards, standard reports, queries, and ad-hoc reports.
  • AWS and/or Snowflake experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and the ability to deliver visualizations in various easy-to-understand formats, such as Excel charts, graphs, reports, presentations, dashboards, and infographics.
  • Strong understanding of API integrations with front-end applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures, and technical standards
  • Experience with layered system architectures and delivery of integrated solutions (i.e., application created by combining data or functionality from different sources).
  • Proficiency in new and emerging technologies.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills.
 
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience working with JSON data and jQuery.
  • Understanding of JavaScript Development.

To compete successfully in a market that is rapidly growing and evolving, Cforia is significantly ramping up its sales efforts.

That’s why we’re seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
  • Research key prospects
  • Build and design campaigns and effective multi-touch point cadences incorporating cold calling, email, InMail, snail mail, text and other effective channels to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services

Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets

  • Proficiency with SalesForce, Sales Loft, ZoomInfo or other similar sales tools.
