Cforia Business Development Manager (BDM)

Description: The Cforia Business Development Manager (BDM) is a specialized pre-sales role within the Cforia Sales and Marketing organization. The purpose is reaching out to Collection Managers within target companies to find/develop interest in Cforia’s Credit, Collections and Dispute Software Suite.

Accountabilities /Duties

  • Outbound phone calls to Finance Departments to engage new contacts
  • Creating Salesforce.com accounts, contacts, and follow-up tasks
  • Management of Salesforce.com records of pre-sales activity
  • Engaging qualified finance personnel within these likely target companies and developing new prospect opportunities for the Cforia Software Sales Department
  • Follow-up on leads generated from website, industry events, and webinars to help increase participation
  • Schedule and secure Cforia.autonomy Product Demonstrations and assist in the development of target accounts into becoming new Cforia Customers

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Four-Year College degree preferred, but a two-year degree and equivalent experience in the credit/collections industry is acceptable
  • The BDM will need a working knowledge of the order-to-cash marketplace and understand the duties of Accounts Receivable Collectors, Credit Managers, and Dispute Resolvers. If you have been a Collector in the past, this is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to be able to engage new Contacts and secure Product Demonstrations. You will use these skills to help move new opportunities along the Cforia sales cycle
  • Strong analytical skills to help decide which targets are good to pursue and which are not
  • Candidates with Accounts Receivable Collections experience preferred

Credit and Collections Software – Application Consultant

Accountabilities /Duties

  • Review of SOW with PSO Manager and Sales Team at the time of project hand off
  • Lead onsite Discovery Meetings with new and existing clients
  • Develop project documentation – includes executing Project Charter, Project Plan, Change Log, Issues Log Tracking, Risk Log, Project Status Reports and trip reports as required
  • Configure Cforia.autonomy application to match customer business rules
  • Manage day to day implementation activities and manage projects to a set project plan
  • Communicate with internal and external parties effectively and timely
  • Manage Customer expectations and ensure project stays within scope
  • Develop product documentation (written and video)
  • Troubleshoot and document reported issues for QA and programming review
  • Create and execute both End User and Train the Trainer product training sessions
  • Assist in product testing, system design and data mapping
  • Proactively participate in company meetings and initiatives
  • Provide Pre-Sales support as needed
  • Provide level 1 Customer Support

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Position requires a moderate level of travel, up to 24 weeks per year
  • Proficient in PC based applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, Microsoft Project and Power Point
  • Knowledge of accounting, especially Accounts Receivable
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relation building skills
  • Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with ability to clearly establish facts, document issues and communicate conclusions
  • Ability to adapt in a changing environment
